A slip housed heavily grogged crank that has all the characteristics of this type of body. Warp resistant, low shrinkage, excellent green and fired strength. This clay fires between 1160-1300°C and gives a toasted buff colour in oxidation. In reduction a warm speckled orange buff is achieved.
