The solid TE-MCC Range of Rohde Kilns can be used for a variety of applications ranging from glass processing at 800°C to 1280°C (Cone 9).  These top-loaders are particularly suitable for use in education establishments of all sizes, as well as for artists, working and hobby potters.   The wide temperature range allows maximum flexibility when it comes to artistic projects in the field of ceramics and glass.

Special features of the TE-MCC+ Range

Models TE75 this model), TE100, TE130 and TE200 can be fitted easily with a heatable lid, required for glass processing.  The heating elements are mounted on support rods that prevent particles falling from the kiln lid onto the ware.

Extension Rings

The cubic capacity of four models of the TE-MCC+ range can be increased by 50% by simply fitting a heatable additional extension ring.  The capacities can increase:

TE-MCC75 (2.65 cubic feet) to 110 litres (3.88 cubic feet) - this model
TE-MCC100 (3.53 cubic feet) to 150 litres (5.30 cubic feet)
TE-MCC130 (4.59 cubic feet) to 190 litres (6.71 cubic feet)
TE-MCC200 (7.06 cubic feet) to 300 litres (10.59 cubic feet)

Note: If you think you may add an extension ring in the future ensure the electricity supply that is installed is capable of taking the kW requirements of the kiln and extension ring added together.  For instance TE-MCC75 is rated at 6kW and the extension ring at 3kW.  Make sure your electricity supply to the kiln is capable of accepting 9kW.

Reversible Stand

All stands on the TE-MCC+ Range are reversible giving the opportunity to simply choose a height that suits the user.

Disassembly

All kilns can be disassembled for transport, into up to four compact pieces.  A door width as little as 55cm can be negotiated when moving the kiln into position.

Note:  These kilns are all supplied with a socket for easy connection of a kiln controller.  The price shown is for the kiln only.  Just choose a controller of your choice.  You may also wish to add a furniture set.  Look at details of the optional extras on the right side of your screen.

Consideration should always be given to the siting of these kilns.  They should be placed on a fire retardent surface with at least 300mm (12") of space around the kiln to allow heat to dissipate.
