A simple cost effective way of firing tiles. This crank is especially good as it will take 150mm  industrial pressed tiles as well as hand made tiles of the same size up to 9mm thick.  Also includes holes at the top of each setter that can be used for bead rods.  Metal Cranks can withstand temperatures up to 1220-1240°C.

Note:  Most clays cannot withstand stoneware temperatures without complete support.  Before use at stoneware temperatures testing or trials must be carried out.
