Chrysanthos Hobby Glazes are specifically formulated for application and firing on white clays used in the hobby ceramic industry. When fired correctly, the Hobby Clear Glaze will seal and protect ceramic ware from moisture and discolouration caused by contact with food and liquid. The Hobby Clear Glaze also enhances underglaze and Cafe Colours over which it has been applied.

Direction for use:

Depending on the firing temperature two or three full coats required to achieve the best results. These are carefully applied at right angles to one another (ie. crosshatched), allowing each to dry in-between. A soft glazing brush should be used in order to minimise streaking. Besides brushing, Hobbu Glaze may also be sponged.  Hobby Glaze are suitable for use in controlled glaze effects, for majolica techniques and are overglaze compatible.  Hobby Glaze may be sprayed and thinned with clean water if necessary to improve glaze flow.
